Our course

Located in idyllic north Hampshire countryside, the course was designed in 1991 by Don Wright and European Tour Veteran, Eamon Darcy.
The Par 72 course measures 6682 yards from the championship tees and 6105 yards from the tees of the day. The ladies course measures 5580 yards and has a par of 72. We also have a blue course ideal for juniors, beginners and seniors, measuring 5145. These teeing options make the course a challenging but fair test for all abilities.

When it first opened, the course quickly gained a reputation for its fine tight turf on the Rye grass fairways and its excellent drainage due to the chalk downland terrain. Test Valley is now a mature downland course and has been rewarded with a brilliant reputation for great playing surfaces all year round.

The course possesses some prominent riveted bunkers that players should pay particular attention to as they prove a tough challenge when playing out of.

The course also enjoys some water features, noticeably the 15th hole, and a fantastic mix of long and short holes. The two loops of nine return neatly to the clubhouse. For more details see Course description.
